System Administrator @ Acma computers

Job Description

The company is building a scalable modern unified Analytics platform for the online Ads industry and are looking for a System Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks.

- You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly.

- You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.

- Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Install and configure software and hardware

- Responsible for monitoring and alerting tools setup and maintenance

- Performance tuning of servers and finding blockers

- Writing scripts to automate the monitoring and ensuring uptime of servers is necessary.

- Set up accounts and workstations

- Troubleshoot issues and outages along with RCA reporting.

- Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls

- Upgrade systems with new releases and models

Desired Candidate Profile

- 4+ years of Proven experience as a System Administrator

- Experience with AWS is a must.

- Should know how to manage access levels for users.

- Experience with databases Access Management, Backups, Replication is plus.

- Experience with networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management

- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery

- Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or other language

- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms

- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude

- Excellent communication skills

Education: B.Tech/ B.E/ MCA/ M.Tech/ M.E. Computers

Location: Gurgaon, Haryana
