Job Description
- Duties and Tasks: Source and recruit volunteers through various techniques (databases, e-mail, social media etc.) Develop a conservation education outreach strategy for Wildlife SOS Planning and organizing events, including site selection, logistical arrangements, purchasing supplies, promoting events, scheduling and being the primary point of contact for the event. Work with school conservation clubs to promote awareness of conservation through field trips, exchange visits, discussion groups, art competitions, essay writing, quizzes, and debates etc. Liaising with schools and other local organizations Produce schedules for everyday activities Assign responsibilities to the right people for special events Coordinate teams of volunteers for large-scale actions and informing groups about the natural wild environment through guided walks, events. Communicate frequently with volunteers to ensure they are satisfied and well-placed Using marketing tools such as outreach programs, e-mails, and volunteer databases and Raising awareness of environmental and wildlife conservation issues Periodic evaluation of volunteers Support Outreach programs of Wildlife SOS and organize them on environmentally significant days Generating income via fundraising activities and volunteering programs Disseminate information for upcoming actions and events Develop and implement a monitoring program to evaluate the impacts of the education program Keep detailed records of volunteers information and assignments Ensure the purpose of the organization and its actions is clearly communicated Delivering education-based presentations to schools for conservation engagement Other administrative and management duties as assigned.
