Job Description
As a Risk Architecture Associate and part of the Chase 360 Data Infrastructure and Engineering team, you will get a chance to work on creating multiple customer level attributes that are delivered to Data Modelling and Strategy teams. These attributes that you will own will be a critical part of data driven credit decisions and you will be responsible for making sure these attributes have the best in class Data Quality rules implemented on them. You will partner with the strategy , analytics and technology teams to design these Data Quality rules and implement in a Production framework
Job summary
You will participate in Data reconnaissance and exploratory work locating valuable information in data, run analyses to transform and enrich the data, and construct the usable data into an optimally designed data product. You will have to work with Business to understand these data elements and do historical analysis and deep dive to design and predict the best Data Quality rules. You get to participate in the development and optimization of Customer Analytical Data products, including: conceptual, logical, physical and semantic design, testing, performance tuning, maintaining the metadata and lineage reports, and hand off to operational support teams.
Job responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop best in class business solution
- Conduct requirement grooming sessions with the development teams
- Understand how data is created, transformed, and used within and across business processes
- Analyze historical data to define robust Data Quality rules
- Research and remediate data issues in case of Data Quality failures in Production
- Working with Technology teams to enable migration of Data Quality rules from On Prem to cloud
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Expert in SQL with experience in Unix and Hadoop/Hive
- Expert in developing process flows and documenting metadata
- Experience working in large-scale corporate Data Ecosystems resolving inconsistencies and challenges in the data
- Experience in understanding and following the Agile methodology
- Experience with Unix, and at least one of: Hive, Sparksql, Python or other query languages working with data in the HADOOP environment.
- Experience with Data Quality monitoring and reconciliation processes
- Bachelor s Degree in related business, technical, or quantitative field with 7 years of relevant experience or master s degree with 5 years of relevant experience
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- AWS practitioner Certification
- Knowledge of banking data and concepts
Comfortable manipulating and summarizing large quantities of data
- Ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines
