Job Title Receiving Manager

Preferred - HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY / HOReCa / 5 star properties

Location Mumbai

Experience- 8 Years

Job Description:

Oversee the entire receiving process, ensuring proper inspection and documentation of all incoming materials.
Conduct physical quality and quantity checks for raw materials such as frozen, chilled, and provision items, along with fruits and vegetables.
Ensure checks for batch numbers, manufacturing dates, expiration dates, and packaging conditions are carried out for all received items.
Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team for sampling, analysis, and compliance with food safety standards, including HACCP.
Supervise the proper handling, disinfection, and storage of raw materials to maintain their integrity and safety.
Ensure all received materials align with purchase orders, delivery challans, or cash memos, quoting the purchase order numbers.
Liaise with various departments for timely distribution of materials and resolution of discrepancies in quality, quantity, or delivery schedules.
Support the Purchase Committee in vendor evaluation processes and supplier audits.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of receiving activities, material rejections, and daily checklists.
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the receiving area, including equipment such as trolleys, baskets, and washing stations.
