Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Engineer SCM at Triveni Engineering & Industries Limited in Mysore. The Engineer SCM will be responsible for procurement of machined components, communication with various stakeholders, supply chain management. Key Responsibilities: Manage procurement activities of machined components. Source and procure fabrication products as required for project needs. Develop and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and quality standards. Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to understand project requirements and provide procurement solutions. Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Implement cost reduction strategies while maintaining high quality and timely supply of components. Stay updated with market trends, new technologies, and supplier developments relevant to the procurement of mechanical components. Personality traits / Competencies: Negotiations Good communication skills, proficient in English. Ability to read and understand drawing and specifications Vendor identification and assessment Coordination Good knowledge of MS Excel SAP MM Module knowledge desirable. Job Specifications/Profile: BE-Mechanical with 3-5 years of experience. Hands-on experience in the procurement of machined components and fabrication products. Proven track record in project-specific procurement within the manufacturing industry. Experience working in industries like machine tool manufacturing, valve manufacturing, gearbox manufacturing, or extrusion machine manufacturing. ,
