Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end delivery of automation projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and customer expectations.
- Collaborate closely with the Automation cross-functional teams and other impacted development teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery. (Development, testing, deployment, and operations)
- Run the day-to-day activities, including facilitation of iterative development teams for greater creativity and improved efficiency.
- Onboarding and planning of new projects, sprint/iteration planning, and assisting the customer and development team in prioritization to achieve quality business outcomes.
- Serve as a key point of contact for customers, establishing strong relationships, and effectively managing customer expectations.
- Track and report project progress, milestones, and deliverables to stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Develop and implement lean governance/agile governance processes, and best practices to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact project delivery, and provide effective solutions.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, ensuring effective communication, motivation, and support to team members.
- Remove blockers to team progress and play a key role in team spirit and culture.
- Ensure compliance with companys data protection and information security policies.
Qualifications:

- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in project management and agile management tools and software. e.g., MS Project, Jira and Confluence, Azure Boards or similar.
- ITIL certifications preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience).
- Up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to automation and project management.
Experience
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a delivery management role, preferably in the software development or AI & automation industry sector.
- Strong project and/or agile management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent customer-facing skills with a track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- An adaptable and pragmatic approach and a curious mind, continually asking why.
- Exceptional leadership abilities, with experience in leading and motivating remote teams.
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC), waterfall and Agile/iterative methodologies.
- Ability to work independently as our only Delivery Lead
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on finding practical and efficient solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and information.
