Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Business partnering role with MD and SBU Heads
- Be a watch dog to ensure business alignment in the strategic direction
- Drive top line and profitability along with stake holders
- Great commercial accumen
- Structure MIS, Analyse Business profitability, and advise corrective prices, discounts, cost of products etc
- Meaningful and actionable suggestions and recommendations to improve gross margin
- Manage cost centre budgeting/forecasting for various functional groups and analyse results on a monthly basis.
- Improve profitability by SKU / Customer / Region / Sales person / Cluster / State / Product Group.
- Develop and implement financial trend reports to identify performance issues within the SBUs
- Improve accuracy & drive automation in credit notes, discounts and other scheme implementation
- Support Ad Hoc reporting & analysis and Special Projects example financial analysis for setting up a new products, new business
- Develop Category profit and loss and own category budgets along with sbu heads
- Co-ordinate with statutory Auditor on IFRS /Ind AS book closing with respect to sales activities
- Mentor Operations and Commercial heads and team members and provide guidance to excel in their functon.
- Prepare monthly presentations for CFO/MD/Investor
Skills
Desired Candidate Profile
- CA/ICWA with minimum 15 years as Category Finance Head/Business Finance Head in a manufacturing / product set up.
- Must have handled senior team members / managed senior business leaders
- Knowledge of SAP preferred
- Excellent knowledge of Excel & Powerpoint.
- Knowledge of macros will be a distinct advantage.
- Flexible working attitude but with a strong desire to excel.
- Team leader as well as player.
- Good Communication skill especially English
