Job Description

Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Grid Asset Management

We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable individual with both managerial and technical skills to join our team as a Project Manager for Grid Asset Management. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the field of grid asset management, as well as other utility core systems such as ADMS and GIS. The Project Manager will be responsible for enabling and coordinating the delivery of projects and ensuring timely completion of work packages across Schneider Grid Asset Management offering. The Project Manager will also be responsible for ensuring project requirements are considered into our product road map, coordinating with Regional Solution Centres, maintaining key project documentation, and ensuring each project is invoiced as per invoicing schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the work packages for the different solutions: The Project Manager will be responsible for defining the work packages scope, timelines resource requirements - for the different offers based on the project requirements and the technical requirements of grid asset management systems.

  • Coordination with Regional Solution Centres: The Project Manager will work closely with the Regional Solution Centres to ensure timely delivery of projects and will have the ability to provide technical support and guidance to ensure the successful completion of the project.

  • Define and document the support & maintenance process, content, SLA and coordinate with the Regional Solution Centres Support & Maintenance team.

  • Ensure project requirements are included in the road map: The Project Manager will ensure that project requirements are included in the product road map, and that they are aligned with the companys overall strategy and the requirements of grid asset management.

  • Maintain key documentation: The Project Manager will maintain key project documentation such as data requirements, RACI matrix, project management plans, SLA, and other project-related documents, ensuring that all documentation is complete, accurate and up-to-date.

  • Ensure each project is invoiced as per invoicing schedule in coordination with the Regional Solution Centres: The Project Manager will ensure that each project is invoiced as per the invoicing schedule, and that all billing requirements are met.

  • Prepare proactive plan to ensure customers will extend or renew their engagement: The Project Manager will prepare a proactive plan to ensure that customers will extend or renew their subscription. This will involve developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, ensuring they receive optimal value from the solution, and identifying opportunities for additional services. This activity will be delivered in coordination with the customer Success Management team.

  • Support new opportunities with the relevant project content: The Project Manager will support new opportunities with project content, ensuring that all relevant information related to the grid asset management project delivery is included in the proposal.

  • Partner enablement: The Project Manager will be required to work closely with partners to ensure they are enabled to promote and deliver Schneider s Grid Asset Management offering. This will include design and development of training plans, and ongoing support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as electrical engineering, computer science, management, or a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in a delivery coordination role.
  • Must have experience in providing pre-sales technical support for RFPs/consulting opportunities in grid asset management.
  • Must have experience implementing utilities core systems such as ADMS sand GIS.
  • Must have experience in enabling and managing partners delivery teams.
  • Must be familiar with different types of delivery models and project management methodologies (such as AGILE).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
