Job Description

Reservoir engineers estimate how much oil or gas can be recovered from underground deposits, known as reservoirs. They study reservoir characteristics and determine which methods will get the most oil or gas out of the reservoirs.

Reservoir engineers are petroleum engineers who utilize their knowledge of geology and fluid mechanics to locate fuel in underground reservoirs.
