Job Description
- The job functions include, but are not limited to, the following: Rigorous Quality Assurance (QA) testing of Sage Publishing systems. Review technical design documentation / acceptance criteria in JIRA, create and execute test strategy/ test plans / test cases, for manual testing. Manage the team by helping group of QAs to work better together. Maintain functional and regression test suites. Find and report defects and follow up on resolution. Analyse and troubleshoot UAT / PROD defects to investigate cause of defect and follow up with developers and other team members to resolve issues and maintain a regression strategy. Participates in knowledge transfers and conduct meetings on need basis. Advocate the quality culture in cross-functional teams in the organization. Take ownership for consistently completing planned deployments on time and to scope. Work in Agile way, attend Agile ceremonies and share QA perspectives in the discussions. Escalate issues to Scrum. Master, Product Owner or Lead as needed. Create and maintaining accurate documentation using MS Word, Excel and other applications such as JIRA and Confluence. Seek ongoing self-improvement through knowledge of advancements in test tools and techniques, with a view to proactively improving Sage QA infrastructure and processes. Prioritize own workload effectively. Liaise with QA managers and departmental leadership regarding process standardization and improvement. Skills, Qualifications & Experience 8+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing involving functional, non-functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing in a structured environment. Strong experience in testing web-based applications. Experience in managing a team. Experience in testing large-scale solutions integrating multiple source and target systems. Experience working in an Agile team. Knowledge of Automation using Selenium/Python will be a plus. Knowledge of API testing will be a plus,
