Job Description:-
A "Market Equipment Executive" at Varun Beverages is primarily responsible for managing and maintaining the company's beverage dispensing equipment & Visi Coolers within a designated market area, ensuring its proper functionality, timely servicing, and optimal performance to support sales and customer satisfaction by overseeing equipment movement, inventory, repairs, and coordinating with distributors and sales teams.
Key responsibilities may include:
Equipment Inventory Management:
- Tracking the location and status of all assigned beverage dispensing equipment within the market.
- Maintaining accurate equipment database and asset management records.
- Coordinating equipment movement between distributors, Sales team and customers as needed.
Maintenance and Repair:
- Coordinating with authorized service providers for performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Coordinating with authorized service providers for diagnosis and troubleshooting of equipment malfunctions & complex repairs.
- Managing spare parts inventory and ensuring timely replacements.
Customer Support:
- Responding promptly to customer service requests regarding equipment issues.
- Providing technical support to distributors and customers on proper equipment operation.
- Addressing customer concerns related to equipment performance and functionality.
Sales Support:
- Collaborating with sales teams to identify potential equipment needs for new customers.
- Facilitating the installation of new equipment at customer locations.
- Ensuring timely delivery of equipment to new and existing customers.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Adhering to all company safety guidelines and quality standards related to equipment handling and maintenance.
- Maintaining accurate records of service calls, repairs, and equipment movements.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Strong technical understanding of Refrigeration system & beverage dispensing equipment.
- Basic mechanical skills for troubleshooting and minor repairs.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using mobile devices and computer systems for data entry and reporting.
- The selected candidate must possess their own vehicle (preferably 2-wheeler), as the role requires frequent travel to market locations, service provider points, and customer sites.
- The candidate must hold a B.Tech or BE degree from a recognized and reputed university, with a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience.
