Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Sr. SQL Data Engineer with expertise in data migration to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data migration processes to ensure seamless data integration and transformation across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain SQL scripts, stored procedures, and queries to support data migration activities.

Design and implement data migration strategies to move data between different databases and systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data integrity during migration.

Perform data quality assessments and implement data cleansing processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Monitor and optimize data migration processes for performance and efficiency.

Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues in a timely manner.

Document data migration processes, including mapping documents and technical specifications.

Key Skills:

Proven experience as a SQL Data Engineer or similar role.

Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.

Experience with data migration tools and techniques.

Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience with Microsoft Azure data platforms.

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies.

Experience with scripting languages such as Python or R.
