The Instrumentation Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electronic equipment used in various industries. They will work with a variety of tools and technologies, troubleshoot problems, and conduct tests to ensure equipment is operating correctly.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electronic control systems, instrumentation, and communications equipment
Maintain records of work performed and parts used using computer-based maintenance management systems
Test equipment for faults, diagnose problems, and replace or repair defective parts
Perform periodic calibration of instruments and devices
Provide support to engineers and other professionals on projects and program implementation
Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
Comply with safety, health, and environmental procedures and regulations in the workplace
Participate in continuing education and training to remain current with technological advancements
