JOB DESCRIPTION

The Supervisor, Identity and Access Management is responsible for the effective operation of the Identity and Access Management team as a customer-focused, service-oriented group providing the highest quality services. The Supervisor, Identity and Access Management plans organizes, assigns, schedules, and controls workflow for the team, while being accountable for the successful completion of all projects assigned to the work group. The Supervisor is a forward-looking technology leader responsible for participation in the development of 13-year road maps in partnership with the Information Security leadership team.

The Supervisor assists with the development of departmental policies and procedures and is responsible for promoting an environment of compliance and operational efficiency.

The Supervisor functions as an expert resource in advanced systems analysis and design for business partners, staff, and users to assist in complex problem troubleshooting and resolution. The Supervisor may lead or coordinate both Security and cross-functional.

The role of the identity and access management supervisor is to work with various departments within an organization to help drive onboarding, offboarding, access control, and cyber security initiatives in support of internal/external policies, regulatory compliance, and industry standards. The IAM Supervisor role typically provides IAM expertise and guidance to various business units and works closely with IT, operation, and cybersecurity groups to gather identity and access management requirements to review and validate access controls across all systems in support of IT, Operation, and cybersecurity.

Essential Job Functions:

  • A solid understanding of IAM concepts and systems
  • Ability to innovate and multi-task with minimal oversight.
  • Accurately perform updates and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly analyses for key operating indicator reports to Clients, Vendors, and Communities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and verbal/written communication skills to a wide audience across the organization.
  • Knowledge of key IAM standards.
  • Partner with external and internal Business teams to implement risk strategies.
  • Proven IAM leadership experience in a large enterprise.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in all IAM program methodologies.
  • The ability to work with a variety of identity, access, and privileged account management solutions.
  • knowledge of compliance Frameworks ISMS, PCI, HITRUST, TL9k, and NIST.
  • Plan, document and implement process improvement programs across IAM.
  • Develop SMART metrics program related to IAM processes.
  • Train and mentor new employees as needed to ensure their success in the team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Specific Requirements and Skills:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of Identity and Access, including provisioning, inactivation, and auditing. Primary systems include but are not limited to Active Directory Users & Computers, Identity Governance, and Identity Manager.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft O365 license assignment and adding and removing users from the Distribution list.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL principles and their practical application.
  • Working knowledge of server and client hardware, software, and technologies
  • Working knowledge of compliance initiatives, audits, and certifications (ISMS, PCI, HITRUST, TL9k, NIST).
  • Good knowledge or Hand on Experience with ServiceNow or Any other ITIL Ticketing Tool.
  • Work on periodic Access verification, Privileges access management or reconciliation activities.
  • Work on Assigning MFA Grid PINs and ensuring that MFA is enabled for every user on each system.
  • Works on the Projects, POCs, and Input/Suggestions.
  • Work on providing access to Cloud systems like Azure, AWS etc.
  • Capable to educate the employees on Security Awareness and dos and donts.
  • Produce various Internal Reports.

Additional Requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills especially the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse user base having varied levels of technical proficiencies
  • Ability to organize, plan and implement work assignments, prioritize competing demands and work under pressure of frequent and tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated with the ability and maturity to be effective & productive in the absence of detailed instructions
  • Demonstrated self-starter and resourceful individual, with experience working in fast-paced and dynamic operational settings.
  • Strong teamwork and knowledge-sharing skills

Education and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience within Identity & Access Management, Cyber Security, or related Information Technology field:
  • Certified Access Management Specialist (CAMS).
  • Certified CompTIA A+, N+ etc.

Microsoft certification(s) such as Microsoft Security compliance or Microsoft Identity and Access.
