Shift timings: 1 PM to 10 PM
Job Description:
Required skills and experience:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI Reports, VB Scripting, and SQL Server, including data modelling, indexing and Good performance considerations and writing stored procedures.
- Provide senior-level systems design, development, consultation and support for core banking application on relational databases and distributed n-tier application platforms.
- Serve as a technical expert in the evaluation and testing of the capabilities, characteristics, and requirements of existing and emerging technologies like SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI Reports.
- Application design knowledge and ability to utilize application design methodologies, tools and techniques to convert business requirements and logical models into a technical design.
- Quality oriented understanding of the importance of striving toward a zero defect, production goal and ability to meet established metrics and deliver targets.
- Provide design and development support for new technologies/platforms that are recommended and adopted mainly who can work with SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI Reports.
- Conduct design reviews, code reviews & assess any technical risk. Also propose order and contents of development iterations.
- Make recommendations as to feasibility of implementation.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring/training to colleagues, users and staff.
- Work closely with Developers, Business analysts, QA, Product Management Team and ensure that the software that is being developed is aligned with published methodologies and best practices.
- Provide development and maintenance support to QA, Customer Care, Implementations Team & customers.
- Design, develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies such as unit testing, mocking and integration testing.
- Develop documentation and work with the Documentation team as needed.
- Interact with leads & other management team members to provide regular status updates.
- Participate in software estimation, planning and risk identification process.
- Comply with company best practices, methodologies and adopt with new technologies.
