Innovate to solve the worlds most important challenges Cloud Infrastructure Operations (GCP)
As a Cloud Infrastructure Operations (GCP) professional here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will be accountable for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of our cloud-based systems. Your expertise in GCP will help us leverage the full potential of cloud technology and drive innovation in our operations. You will report directly to our Cloud Operations Manager and youll work out of our 1 location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and scalability of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and enabling us to deliver high-quality services to our customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and monitor the performance and availability of our cloud infrastructure on GCP. Optimize and automate cloud-based systems to improve efficiency and scalability.
Implement security measures to protect our cloud infrastructure and data.
Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in cloud infrastructure operations.
YOU MUST HAVE 3+ years of hands-on experience in managing cloud infrastructure, specifically on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Strong knowledge of GCP and GCVE services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
Experience with cloud automation and infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python or Bash.
Working lnowledge of ITSM processesses Incident/Change/problem/release managment and tools such as ServiceNOW
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
WE VALUE Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. GCP certifications, such as Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect or Google Certified Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
Expertiese with Google Cloud Vmware Engine (GCVE) Experience with other cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure. Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
