Inviting applications for the role of Consultant - Public Cloud Network Engineer In this role, Candidate is expected to have cloud knowledge of different public cloud architecture environments, virtualization, and data center automation. Ideal candidates should have technical experience in Architecting to help customers get value from client Platform. Responsibilities Logical Design of a VPC and services within the VPC IP Address management and reservations IP Subnetting Logical Traffic flow (VPC Routing) Build a VPC Deploying multiple Subnets within a VPC, split across multiple AZs Create Route Table Deploying VM(s) with single interface Deploying VM(s) with multiple interfaces Deploying AWS based service that resides in your VPC and takes available IP addresses. Ex: EKS, DMS, Endpoints, etc Security Group basics Role of the NAT GW Role of the Internet GW Elastic IP addresses Intermediate: Role of Transit Gateway Transit Gateway Attachments Transit Gateway Routing Tables Role of Transit VPC Direct Connect Direct Connect VIFs Virtual Gateways and VPNs Security Group(s), which is the correct one to update VPC Endpoints Static routes Asymmetric Routing Stateful networking Advanced: Dynamic routing (BGP) Manually tracing datapath by looking at route tables on VMs, AWS Route Tables, Transit Gateway Route Tables, Firewall Route Tables, Peering Router Route tables, etc Routing and High-Availability at peering centers and between regions Paloalto Firewalls in Tranist VPC Paloalto Firewalls as VPN endpoints Evaluating Security Rules on Paloalto firewalls Gateway Load Balancer Network Load Balancer Application Load Balancer Automation and Infrastructure as Code VPC/Service Endpoints Logging and metrics Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications / Skills Bachelors degree in IS, Computer Science, MIS Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Proven communication skills when working with other technical towers to work out issues. Must be well organized, thrive in a sense-of-urgency environment, leverage best practices, and most importantly, innovate through any problem with a can-do attitude. Must understand various logging methods and security event terminology. Strong leadership skills when troubleshooting across multiple vendor platforms and working out technical issues. Proven communication skills when working with other technical towers to work out issues. Preferred Qualifications/ Skills Very good written and presentation / verbal communication skills with experience of customer interfacing role. In-depth requirement understanding skills with good analytical and problem-solving ability, interpersonal efficiency, and positive attitude. Good ITIL knowledge Flexible to work for 24x7 process. Excellent Communication and interpersonal Skills Ability to prepare Dashboards and Reports Experience of working independently & as a team player Should have a proactive work approach and ability to think out of the box.
