Job Description

Testing & Analysis:
- Perform qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
- Conduct stability studies and microbiological testing as per regulatory requirements.
- Operate and maintain analytical instruments like HPLC, GC, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, FTIR, etc.

Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate records of test results and observations in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Prepare Certificates of Analysis (CoA) and ensure proper documentation for audits.
- Assist in handling deviations, Out of Specification (OOS), and Out of Trend (OOT) results.

Regulatory & Quality Assurance:
- Ensure adherence to guidelines set by regulatory bodies like USFDA, WHO-GMP, MHRA, etc.
- Participate in internal and external audits and help implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Instrument Calibration & Maintenance:
- Perform routine calibration and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments.
- Maintain lab cleanliness and ensure proper usage of chemicals and reagents.

Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Work closely with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to maintain product quality.
- Assist in process validation and method development activities.
- Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
- Experience: 1-5 years in Quality Control / Quality Assurance in a pharmaceutical company.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with analytical techniques like HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR.
- Knowledge of GLP, GMP, and regulatory guidelines.
- Familiarity with documentation software
