- Job Description: IT Project Manager (5-10 Years Experience) Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager with 5-10 years of experience to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in managing technology-driven initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Initiation: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Identify resource requirements and manage resource allocation. Execution and Delivery: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT projects, including software development, infrastructure upgrades, or system integrations. Monitor project progress, ensure adherence to timelines, and implement corrective actions as necessary. Ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet user needs and business goals. Risk and Issue Management: Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks to project success. Address and resolve project issues promptly to minimize impact. Team Collaboration and Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and other IT professionals. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment. Provide regular updates and clear communication to team members and stakeholders. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. Communicate project status, milestones, risks, and deliverables effectively. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes. Budget and Resource Management: Monitor project budgets and control expenditures to stay within financial constraints. Optimize the use of resources to achieve maximum efficiency. Process Improvement: Analyze project processes and identify opportunities for optimization. Implement best practices and methodologies for future projects. Qualifications and Skills: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile are preferred. Experience: 5-10 years of experience in IT project management. Proven track record of successfully delivering IT projects of varying size and complexity. Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with IT infrastructure, software development, and system integration projects. Expertise in using project management tools like JIRA, MS Project, or Trello. Soft Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities. Analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
