About the Job Job Title: Lead Database Developer Experience: 4 to 8 Years Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days work from office) Hiring Mode: Contract-to-Hire (C2H) Location: Bangalore Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Lead Database Developer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 8 years of experience and will be responsible for developing and maintaining databases in a hybrid work environment. Mandatory experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for at least 2 years is required for this role. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain databases using GCP technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design database solutions. Ensure database performance, security, and reliability. Optimize database queries and processes for efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in database development. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. 4 to 8 years of experience in database development. Minimum of 2 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts. Experience with database design, optimization, and performance tuning. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Prior experience in a hybrid work environment is preferred.
