Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Liferay-based web applications using Liferay Portal and OSGi Framework. Customize and extend Liferay portal functionality through portlets, themes, and hooks. Build and maintain integrations between Liferay and other third-party applications. Develop clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices. Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure the highest quality of delivery. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and scalability. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in the Liferay and OSGi Requirements : 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Liferay Development with a strong focus on Liferay DXP (Digital Experience Platform). Strong expertise in the OSGi Framework and its integration with Liferay. Solid understanding of Java, JSP, Servlets, and Spring Framework. Experience in developing and maintaining Liferay portlets and themes. Proficiency with SQL, JDBC, and JPA/Hibernate for database interaction. Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services for integration. Strong knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN). Familiar with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like jQuery or Angular. Good understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and within a Skills : Experience with Liferay 7.x and higher versions. Understanding of Liferay Service Builder and Liferay API. Knowledge of Liferay's role-based permission system. Experience with ElasticSearch, Solr, or other search platforms in the Liferay context. Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes. (ref:hirist.tech),
