Job Description
- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer with experience in Machine Learning to join Data Science and Machine Learning projects to help improve the performance of our targeting and optimization products. You will be part of a team that manages the full data product life-cycle: from prototyping to production development to A/B testing and measurements - providing each team member the opportunity to work with technologies such as Tensorflow, Vertex AI on Google Cloud Platform. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain scalable machine learning pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Optimize systems to improve campaign performance and pacing. Write and ship production-level Python code and Go code Write and execute complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources. Collaborate with applied scientists, software engineers, and product managers to design and implement ML-based solutions to meet business needs. Document code, processes, and systems for maintainability and future reference. Actively participate in the Agile development lifecycle, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Requirements Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or a related field. 3+ years of experience in a Data Engineering or ML Engineering role. Proficiency in writing, deploying, and maintaining Python code in production environments, with experience in Docker. Experience with Golang or other languages is a plus. Hands-on experience building data pipelines for ML systems and data products. Strong experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), but experience with other providers (AWS, Azure) is also acceptable. Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. Strong communication skills to work across teams of applied scientists, data scientists, engineers and product managers. Self-driven and proactive in identifying challenges and driving projects to successful completion.
