- Supervising crews of workers to ensure projects proceed smoothly and safely.
- Overseeing the coordination of construction works to align with priorities and plans.
- Producing schedules and monitoring the attendance of crew members.
- Inspecting construction sites frequently to ensure adequate manpower and resources.
- Reporting the progress of construction projects to managers, supervisors, engineers, and other relevant personnel.
- Ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Managing budgets and timelines for construction projects.
- Delegating tasks and providing guidance to the team.
- Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports.
- A strong background in civil engineering and construction management.
- Proven experience as a Civil Foreman or in a similar supervisory role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others.
