Job Description
- Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Shopify / WordPress Developer to join our team and take ownership of developing, customizing, and maintaining e-commerce and CMS websites. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Shopify and WordPress platforms, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions tailored to business needs. Key Responsibilities: Website Development and Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain Shopify and WordPress websites with a focus on responsiveness and performance. Customize themes, templates, and plugins to align with project requirements. Custom Development: Create custom features, functionalities, and integrations using Shopify Liquid and WordPress PHP. Develop APIs and third-party integrations to enhance platform capabilities. E-commerce Setup and Optimization: Optimize website speed, performance, and SEO for e-commerce platforms. Bug Fixing and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Regularly test websites for functionality, responsiveness, and compatibility. Collaboration: Work closely with designers, marketers, and other developers to ensure seamless execution of projects. Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide updates. Version Control and Documentation: Use version control systems (e.g., Git) for code management. Document development processes, code changes, and project progress. Continuous Learning and Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in Shopify and WordPress development. Propose innovative solutions to improve website functionality and user experience. Requirements: Technical Skills: Proficiency in Shopify Liquid and WordPress PHP development. Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like jQuery. Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices for e-commerce websites. Experience with Shopify APIs and WordPress REST API. Tools and Platforms: Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Proficiency in using design tools like Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch is a plus.
