- Location Saudi ( Dammam ) Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman (HVAC) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in creating detailed HVAC drawings, working with engineers to develop system designs, and ensuring that the designs are in compliance with local building codes and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: HVAC Drafting: Create, revise, and update HVAC drawings, plans, and layouts using AutoCAD software. Draft system layouts for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems including ductwork, equipment placement, piping, and related components. Collaboration with Engineers: Work closely with HVAC engineers and project managers to develop system designs and ensure all drawings meet technical specifications. Assist in site evaluations and documentation, ensuring accurate design work that matches project requirements. Quality Control: Review and verify the accuracy of all drawings before submission. Ensure that all HVAC designs adhere to relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain and manage all HVAC design documentation and updates in accordance with project timelines and deadlines. Prepare reports and technical drawings for client presentations or internal use. Revisions & Updates: Modify designs based on project requirements, client feedback, or field changes. Create detailed and clear annotations and markups for revisions. Coordination with Construction Teams: Support construction teams by providing clarification on technical drawings as needed. Monitor and resolve design conflicts and errors during project execution. Skills & Qualifications: Educational Requirements: A Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field is preferred. Certification in AutoCAD or equivalent software is highly desirable. Experience: Proven experience as a draftsman or CAD technician in the HVAC industry. Experience with both 2D and 3D AutoCAD drafting and design tools. Knowledge of HVAC systems, including ductwork, air handling units, and cooling and heating systems. Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and related design software. Familiarity with HVAC industry standards, materials, and construction methods. Ability to work with mechanical and electrical systems and integrate them into HVAC designs. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, project managers, and clients. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with advanced HVAC design software (Revit, BIM, etc.). Familiarity with project management tools and software.
