Job Description
- A Civil AutoCAD Design Engineer for Solar Plants typically has the following responsibilities and qualifications: Responsibilities: Design civil infrastructure and facilities for solar energy projects, including access roads, equipment foundations, pile foundations, drainage systems, and erosion control measures. Develop detailed civil engineering plans, drawings, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), and specifications using engineering software and tools like AutoCAD. Conduct pre-feasibility analysis of proposed sites. Support field quality teams to check and inspect civil construction activities to ensure compliance with engineering standards, specifications, and industry best practices. Collaborate with project teams, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to coordinate civil engineering activities and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives. Knowledge of hydrology, geotechnical, and topographical studies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering. 2-6 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in renewable energy projects. Excellent communication skills - verbal and written. Proficiency in civil engineering software and tools (AutoCAD, Staad Pro). Knowledge of civil engineering principles, codes, and standards. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
