Job Description

Job Description System installation and configuration: Set up Linux/Unix machines, install software, and configure system settings. Providing technical support Applying updates and patches to Linux machines on need basis to address security vulnerabilities and maintain system stability, set permissions Diagnosing and resolving issues including hardware failures, software conflicts, network connectivity problems, and application errors. Assessing capacity needs and plan for future hardware upgrades or consolidation. Understanding of network protocols, IP addressing, routing, and network security concepts. Configuring network interfaces and firewalls. Managing network connectivity and troubleshooting network issues. Implementing security best practices to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats. Managing system hardening configurations. Ability to analyze issues, troubleshoot effectively, and identify solutions. Good communication skills, and able to drive and deliver the tasks individually. Good in documentation. Good to have: certification in Linux administration.,
