Gammastack - Senior Node.js Developer @ Mifm Operations

Job Description

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js. Design, implement, and optimize database schemas in PostgreSQL. Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices. Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and other team members to deliver seamless user experiences. Perform code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance issues in applications and database queries. Create and maintain technical documentation for the backend system and database structures. Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply them to improve the development process. Required Skills Strong proficiency in Node.js with at least 3 years of hands-on experience. Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, including database design, indexing, optimization, and writing complex SQL queries. Experience with RESTful APIs, WebSocket, and third-party API integrations. Proficiency in version control systems, such as Git. Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture. Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a collaborative team environment.
