If you have a minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development and are passionate about building scalable and secure server-side applications, this role is for you! Youll be instrumental in designing and developing APIs, optimizing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions. Key Responsibilities Server-Side Development: Build and maintain robust server-side applications using Node.js and Express.js. Create and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end and external systems. Database Management Design and optimize database schemas for MongoDB and SQL to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. Collaboration & Integration Work closely with front-end teams to ensure smooth integration of user-facing features. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve server-side issues promptly. Optimization & Security Enhance application performance and ensure adherence to security best practices. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry standards. Continuous Improvement Stay informed about the latest trends in Node.js development and recommend process improvements. Key Skills Required Proficiency in Node.js and the Express.js framework. Strong experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming concepts. Expertise in designing and consuming RESTful APIs. Hands-on experience with databases like MongoDB and SQL. Knowledge of performance optimization and backend security. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Problem-solving skills with a focus on debugging and troubleshooting complex issues. Strong teamwork and communication abilities. Additional Skills (Nice To Have) Experience with Docker and containerized applications. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Understanding of microservices and distributed systems architecture. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in Node.js backend development.
