Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices using .NET Core and C#.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features for internal and external applications.
- Implement message-driven architectures with Apache Kafka for asynchronous communication.
- Work with MongoDB for managing and querying data in a NoSQL environment.
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through unit tests, code reviews, and consistent documentation.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and refactor existing APIs and backend services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices related to .NET development, API design, and cloud-based architectures.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
- Strong experience in C# and .NET Core for API development.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka for stream processing and messaging systems.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- Solid understanding of modern development practices, including version control (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.
- Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests using frameworks like XUnit, MSTest, or NUnit.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with other NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra, Couchbase).
- Exposure to front-end technologies (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus.
