- Job Title: Agriculture Field Officer Hydroponics Farm Management Location: Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India Company: OG Farms India Job Description: OG Farms India is seeking a skilled and dedicated Agriculture Field Officer to manage our hydroponic farm. This role requires an experienced candidate with specialized knowledge in hydroponic cultivation techniques and expertise in managing crops like bell peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, and strawberries. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, ensure optimal growth conditions, and contribute to maximizing yield and quality. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of a hydroponics farm, managing crop cycles and growth stages. Ensure proper environmental control within the hydroponics system, monitoring factors like humidity, light intensity, pH, and nutrient levels. Implement best practices for pest and disease management, maintaining a healthy growth environment. Conduct regular crop inspections, monitoring plant health and identifying potential issues early. Coordinate with the management team to meet production targets and quality standards. Provide regular reports on crop progress, yield, and any operational adjustments needed. Requirements: Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in hydroponics or controlled environment farming. Technical Knowledge: In-depth expertise in cultivating bell peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, and strawberries in hydroponic systems. Strong understanding of plant nutrition, pest and disease management, and hydroponic technology. Ability to troubleshoot environmental and technical issues in real-time. Education: Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Plant Science, or related field preferred.
