Job Description
Senior Investment Management Modeler
One of our clients who is leading investment banking firm with presence across globe, planning to expand investment management model validation team in Mumbai.
Hence, actively looking to hire candidates with 6+ years of work experience in investment / asset management model development / validation with people management experience.
Some of the key responsibilities will include :
- Manage a team of Quants and Consultants who independently review Investment Management Models.
- Provide independent review and validation compliant with Model Risk Management policies and procedures.
- Take initiatives and responsibility of end-to-end delivery of a stream of Model Risk Management related deliverables.
- Represent Model Risk Management team in interactions with regulatory and audit agencies as required
To be eligible for this role you will require :
- Qualified degree in Quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, or Financial Mathematics
- Programming skills in Python, R, MATLAB (Anyone)
- Relevant professional certifications like CQF, CFA, CAIA or progress made towards it are preferred
