Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled and creative Hairstylist to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about hair care and styling, stays updated on the latest trends, and delivers exceptional customer service. As a Hairstylist, you will be responsible for providing a variety of hair care services, including cuts, color, treatments, and styling, tailored to each clients needs. Key Responsibilities: Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their preferences and provide professional advice on styles, treatments, and products. Recommend hairstyles and treatments that suit clients facial features, lifestyle, and personal style. Hair Services: Perform haircuts, trims, and shaves for men, women, and children. Provide hair coloring, highlights, and balayage services, ensuring proper techniques for desired results. Conduct hair treatments, such as deep conditioning, keratin treatments, or scalp care. Create updos, braids, and other intricate hairstyles for special occasions. Customer Experience: Deliver excellent customer service to ensure a positive salon experience. Build lasting relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals. Sanitation and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and tools in compliance with health and safety regulations. Sterilize tools and equipment after each use. Product Knowledge and Sales: Stay informed about hair care products and techniques, and recommend suitable products to clients. Upsell salon services and retail products to meet clients" needs. Professional Development: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and tools. Attend training sessions or workshops as required to enhance skills. Requirements: Proven experience as a Hairstylist or similar role. Proficiency in hair styling, cutting, and coloring techniques. Knowledge of hair care products and trends. Valid cosmetology license (as per local regulations). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service. Creative and detail-oriented with a passion for the beauty industry. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with diverse hair textures and styles. Expertise in advanced hair treatments (e.g., chemical straightening, perms). Strong portfolio showcasing previous work. Work Environment: Full-time opportunities.
