Metallurgical Engineer Job in Sardar @ Mifm Operations

Job Description

• Conduct metallurgical analysis and testing of materials and products.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
• Monitor and control foundry operations to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• Oversee the melting department, including charge preparation, melting, alloying, and pouring processes.
• Ensure the correct melting and handling of metals to achieve desired chemical compositions and physical properties.
• Implement and maintain melting procedures, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
• Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to address any metallurgical issues and provide technical support.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process deviations and defects.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in metallurgy and foundry technologies.

• Knowledge of Portable Spectro Machine.

  Knowledge of inspection of Inclusion in Raw Material.

  Knowledge of Nitriding Part Inspection.

  Knowledge of Metallography.

  Knowledge of Thread Hardness Inspection.

  Able to operate Normalizing, Iso Annealing & Cyclic Annealing Furnace

  Monitoring Consumption on Daily Basis.

  Maintain Raw Material Inward Inspection Record. Issue Cutting Slips to Cutting Operator. Maintain Heat Code Traceability Healthwise on each batch of parts separately.

  Knowledge of Millipore Testing.

  knowledge of Quality and Safety.
