Accounts Receivable and Payable Clerk Responsibilities:
- Recording, computing, and classifying revenue data to ensure complete financial records.
- Paying invoices by verifying transaction information, scheduling disbursements, and obtaining necessary authorizations.
- Obtaining revenue by verifying transaction information, computing charges, and preparing and mailing invoices.
- Collecting revenue by reminding delinquent accounts and notifying customers of insufficient payments.
- Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Maintaining accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.
