Job Description for Risk officer

Role Definition:

To Monitor Risk on the Prop trading Desk.

To control all types of Risk such as Financial, Operational, Technological & any other possible risk.

To control option traders risk based on various Greeks such as Delta Gamma Vega & Theta.

To monitor various limits and Margin limits of each trader.

Must have understanding of various asset classes such as Equity, Commodity, Currency.

Must be well aware of recent news & global events.

Understanding of Trading platforms such as greeksoft, ODIN, NEAT etc.

Soft skill requirement

Good understanding of Microsoft Excel

Deep Understanding of Options strategies

MIS & various Dashboards

Exchange requirements & open interest

Long dated options

Technology savvy

Communication Skills

Decision Maker.

Leadership qualities.

Team Player

Experience 2 to 5 years

Education: B.com preferred MBAs
