We are inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager - Sourcing & Procurement In this role you would be responsible to work with the internal category sourcing teams, clients and to understand their need for running sourcing events, to define and develop sourcing strategy, manage RFx sourcing for mid to high events and solicit competitive proposals from qualified suppliers. In some cases negotiating with suppliers while delivering results to the customer. Responsibilities Assist the category team as they work to define their need for running sourcing events. Specifically, helping them draft a requirement or specification document (i.e. SOW, position posting, etc.), document business requirements. Work will include creating RFP documents, coordinating supplier RFIs, analyzing responses, and where needed supplier negotiations and selection Contract related support to the category team identifying expiring contracts, Liaise with stakeholders to extend or terminate contracts, Initiate legal contract based on agreed templates and clauses, monitor contract compliance Perform spend analysis, maintain reports, conduct research in support of category plans. Work with category leaders to develop alternate sources to single source relationships, and evaluate incumbent and/or new sources Leverage best practices where opportunities arise Qualifications Minimum qualifications Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma and strong of sourcing experience Preferred Qualifications Relevant experience in indirect sourcing, supplier and stakeholder relationship management Experience working with global stakeholders, suppliers and clients outside India Demonstrated professional verbal/written communication and negotiation skills in English Knowledge of local market place, legislation, suppliers Having worked in a middle office type of set up - running sourcing events, taking guidance from category leaders and having strong interpersonal skills ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization Experience hosting virtual training and/or Q&A sessions would be beneficial Job Assistant Manager Primary Location India-Bangalore Schedule Full-time Education Level Master's / Equivalent Job Posting Aug 14, 2024, 3:04:49 AM Unposting Date Oct 13, 2024, 1:29:00 PM Master Skills List Operations Job Category Full Time,
