- Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer specializing in product design of Electrical motors to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing success and growth.As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Electrical Motor Hardware Design at Texmo Industries, you will be responsible for a range of mechanical engineering activities focused on the design and development of electrical motors with a specific emphasis on the design and fin optimization of induction motor casing. Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of electrical motors, considering performance, efficiency, and thermal characteristics.Collaborate with electrical engineers to integrate mechanical components seamlessly into the overall motor design.Design and optimize heat sink fins for efficient thermal management of electrical motors, ensuring optimal heat dissipation and performance.Utilize simulation and modelling tools to optimize the fin geometry and materials for enhanced heat transfer.Use CAD software to create 2D and 3D models of electrical motor components, conduct simulations, and optimize designs for performance and manufacturability.Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development of motor components, considering electrical and mechanical integration.Oversee the prototyping and testing of electrical motor components to validate design concepts and ensure functionality, reliability, and efficiency.Analyse test data, recommend design modifications, and iterate the design to achieve optimal motor performance and thermal management.Manage multiple projects related to electrical motor design and simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, and according to established specifications and standards.Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery.Create and maintain accurate and comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, related to electrical motor design, fin optimization, and integration.Ensure that all documentation adheres to industry standards and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of electrical motors into the overall product design.Communicate effectively with team members and internal stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements and objectives.Stay updated with emerging technologies, best practices, and advancements in the field to suggest and implement process improvements. Requirements: To succeed in this specialized role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.3-5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on electrical motor parts and fin optimization.Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and other relevant engineering tools.Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes, particularly related to electrical motors.Experience in electrical motor product design, including knowledge of thermal management, and fin geometry optimization.Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
