- Texana is a joint venture between two leading Apparel Manufacturing companies, Texport Industries Pvt Limited (India) & Busana Apparel Group (Indonesia). Location: Kadapa AP Position: Industrial Engineering Manager General Work Scope The Industrial Engineering Manager is responsible for managing all technical aspects of the production operations within the company. The scope of responsibilities includes planning, developing, and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality throughout the entire production process. This role requires a deep understanding of industrial engineering, analysis, calculation, planning, and the ability to apply continuous improvement methodologies, as well as strong competence in both leadership and managerial aspects in order to establish strong teamwork to support smooth production operations. Main Responsibilities Production System Planning and Design Designing, developing, and implementing efficient production systems, including workflow, work ergonomics, production layout, and resource allocation, to improve productivity and reduce waste. Conducting reviews and adjusting process designs and production layouts to enhance production capacity and cycle efficiency. Production Process Analysis Performing in-depth analysis of each production process to identify potential waste and opportunities for improvement. Implementing or adopting in whole or in part production process methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma to reduce cycle time, increase efficiency, and reduce production costs. Analyzing ongoing and planned production processes from the perspective of method, technical aspects, productivity, and efficiency. Conducting analysis and calculations of the production process for each style that will be run and determining the most efficient flow, layout, production targets, and resource utilization. Research, Innovation, and Technology Implementation Identifying and evaluating new technologies that can improve efficiency and product quality, and implementing such technologies into production operations with a long-term orientation. Encouraging development initiatives such as the use of new machines, automation and digitization, and the use of advanced manufacturing process software. Production Management and Team Performance Determining KPIs to measure and monitor production performance, including productivity, efficiency, and quality in collaboration with production leaders. Conducting data analysis to identify production performance and understand the factors affecting production performance in order to implement improvements in collaboration with production leaders. Supporting and encouraging technical competency development programs for production staff and the technical team, focusing on the ongoing development of technical skills and knowledge about production systems and quality management systems. Providing support and leading in collaboration with production leaders on solving technical production issues and implementing effective solutions. Placing a strong focus on the process of empowerment and team collaboration based on systems starting from skill matrices, performance mapping, competency audits, certifications, and more. Collaborating with all teams within the organization to ensure that all business development initiatives decided by top management can be completed on time and provide useful results and support the progress of the organization. Qualifications and Competencies Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, or a related field or major. A minimum of 13 years of experience in production management, with a deep understanding of factory operational methodologies. Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues in a production/factory operation. Good communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members, senior management, and buyers. The ability to manage project initiatives starting from the analysis phase, planning, organizing, and execution. A strong commitment to improvement and the achievement of operational performance with an orientation towards long-term business advancement and sustainability.
