Job Description
- As a Software Tester Intern specializing in manual testing, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Under the guidance of senior testers and software developers, you will learn to effectively identify, report, and track software defects, ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards of functionality, usability, and performance. Responsibilities: Develop and execute manual test cases based on project requirements, user stories, and design specifications. Identify, document, and report software defects using designated issue tracking systems. Provide clear and concise descriptions of issues, along with steps to reproduce. Perform regression testing to verify that previously identified issues have been resolved and that new changes do not introduce new defects. Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage. Requirements: Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. (NO Pursuing candidates will be preferred) Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies. Familiarity with manual testing techniques and best practices. Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail) is desirable. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts and issues. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to meticulously follow test procedures and accurately document defects. Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team. Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
