To lead the planning and execution of the Cambridge Early Years curriculum, supporting and guiding pre-primary teachers to create a nurturing, developmentally appropriate learning environment that fosters the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development of young children. Key Responsibilities Curriculum implementation: Ensure the effective delivery of the Cambridge Early Years curriculum across all pre-primary classrooms. Collaborate with teachers to plan and implement lessons that align with the Cambridge Early Years framework, emphasizing holistic child development. Regularly review and update curriculum materials and teaching resources to ensure they meet Cambridge standards. Teacher development and support: Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for pre-primary teachers to ensure they are well-prepared to deliver the Cambridge curriculum. Conduct regular classroom observations to provide constructive feedback and support to teachers. Student assessment and development: Guide teachers in assessing young children's progress using developmentally appropriate tools and Cambridge Early Years assessment methods. Ensure that assessments reflect a child's development in key areas, including communication, physical development, personal-social development, and early literacy and numeracy. Parental involvement: Organize and lead parent-teacher meetings to discuss the progress and development of pre-primary students. Provide parents with regular updates on their childs development and ways they can support learning at home. Address any parental concerns related to the pre-primary program and Cambridge curriculum implementation. Classroom environment: Ensure that classrooms are set up in a manner that fosters exploration, creativity, and learning in a safe and nurturing environment. Assist teachers in creating developmentally appropriate activities and experiences that support all areas of a childs development. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all pre-primary classrooms. Administrative responsibilities: Maintain records of student progress, attendance, and teacher performance. Develop and oversee the implementation of policies related to early childhood education. Coordinate with school administration on scheduling, resource allocation, and reporting requirements.
