Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Tier-1 Linux Administrator / Technical Support Expert at Sharktech. The role involves Linux system administration, system troubleshooting, patch management, and providing technical support to customers on a daily basis. Qualifications Helping customers through Support tickets. Remote Technical Support experience. Must have Experience with: - Experience across Red Hat, Fedora, Ubuntu, CentOS, and Windows OS. - Troubleshooting boot-level issues. - IPMI / DRAC / iKVM (Intelligent Platform Management Interface) - Management of file systems, security, disk usage, and backups. - Hardware troubleshooting. - Advance Linux troubleshooting. - Advance Windows troubleshooting. - Linux flavor installation and configuration) - Virtualization using KVM / SolusVM - IP subnetting, VLANs - WHMCS. - Knowledge of Routing. - Installation and configuration of software firewalls - Advance Networking Linux/Windows - Raid (Hardware and Software) configuration and troubleshooting - Kernel Level debug/troubleshooting (extra advantage) Communication skills. Can handle load and urgent tasks. Work in any time zone. (8 hours/day 40hours/week, rotating shift.),
