Job Description
- We are seeking a talented and motivated Civil 3D Designer to join our team. The Civil 3D Designer will be responsible for supporting civil engineering projects by creating and modifying 3D models, plans, and drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D software. This role involves collaboration with engineers, project managers, and other team members to deliver high-quality design solutions for infrastructure, land development, and transportation projects. Key Responsibilities: Design and Drafting: Develop civil engineering designs and create detailed drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D software. Produce design models for site grading, roadways, stormwater management, utilities, and other civil infrastructure elements. Prepare plans, profiles, and cross-sections based on project specifications. Work with engineers to implement design changes and modifications as necessary. 3D Modeling & Visualization: Generate and manage 3D models for grading, drainage, and utility systems. Assist in the preparation of 3D visualizations, renderings, and simulations to support project presentations and stakeholder reviews. Site Layout and Design: Assist in site planning and layout, ensuring designs comply with local codes, regulations, and client requirements. Develop grading plans, including cut and fill calculations, for optimal site development. Collaboration & Coordination: Coordinate with other team members including engineers, surveyors, architects, and contractors to ensure design accuracy and alignment with project goals. Participate in design review meetings and provide input on constructability, design feasibility, and cost-effective solutions. Technical Documentation: Prepare accurate construction drawings, technical specifications, and reports in compliance with project requirements and industry standards. Review and update project documentation as necessary to reflect design changes and revisions. Quality Control & Standards: Ensure that all design work adheres to established standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
