- Job Description: Assistant Pastry Chef Location: SOMO, Noida Experience Required: Minimum 1-2 years in pastry or bakery operations About SOMO: SOMO is a boutique French patisserie founded by a Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef. We are dedicated to creating high-quality, artisanal desserts with a focus on authenticity, zero preservatives, and impeccable client service. Role Summary: We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Assistant Pastry Chef to support our Head Pastry Chef in crafting exquisite desserts and maintaining the standards of SOMO. You will play a vital role in daily production, recipe execution, and maintaining hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Production & Preparation 2. Quality Control & keeping inventory 3. Managing Kitchen Operations Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or Pastry Arts (preferably from a recognized institution). Proficiency in French pastry techniques; experience with laminated doughs, chocolate work, and decoration is a plus. Strong communication and organizational skills.
