Job Description

Marketing Strategy and Roadmap
- Responsible for conceptualizing and articulating marketing strategy and roadmap. Undertake designing, developing, and implementing short-term and long-term go-to market and marketing strategy keeping in mind the evolving market/ competitor/ customer landscape.
- Work closely with business leaders as a strategic business advisor regarding marketing and branding priorities.

- He/she will take steps towards business imperatives with effective product positioning and messaging through branding and marketing.
- He/she will be responsible for scanning external landscape, markets new industry developments to identify areas of transformation and translate them into effective solutions.
Marketing Operations & Campaign Management
- Define goals and target for different channels of marketing management and review progress on annual goals. He/ she will oversee the entire advertising, communication, ATL & BTL market interventions as planned and monitor the progress.
- Effectively manage media cost and expenditure efficiency towards increasing share of voice and visibility to lead to an increase in sales and overall market share.
- Develop innovative campaigns that will increase quality spectators with a view of turning them into lasting customers. He/she formulates & deploys product campaigns to grow market penetration, consumer based and revenue for Luminous products.
Brand Management
- Craft & refine the brand positioning of Luminous including developing branding guidelines to ensure a consistent and compelling brand experience at relevant touch points.
- Ensure Brand Health metrics are tracked and enhanced on continuous basis.
- Ensure Customer Loyalty Indices are strengthened towards consumer stickiness.
- Plan the marketing and branding calendar for activities through the year. Able to develop and communicate brand differentiators that effectively communicate Luminous' unique value proposition and transition towards Brand premiumization.
- Ensure that the brand's story is communicated creatively and effectively to establish a differentiated positioning of Luminous.
Product and Portfolio Development
- Collaborate with the leadership team to manage performance of current products portfolio and envision a product portfolio for the future.
- Recommend pricing strategies for products based on market research and alignment with marketing strategy.
- Leverage consumer research to develop and strengthen product portfolio.
- Keep abreast of competitor activity - product portfolio, marketing strategies, price-product offerings, launch techniques and media planning.
- Recommend new opportunities for portfolio on products that are gamechangers which generate pride for the company.
- Create a strategic plan to define product positioning and formulate & deploy product campaigns to grow market penetration, consumer base and revenue for Luminous products. Ensures successful product launches aligned to business objectives.
Digital Marketing
- Leverage digital marketing & social media to enhance Luminous' presence & customer recall and support traditional marketing channels.

- He/she ensures the establishment of industry leading digital presence that will drive aggressive awareness for the business and significantly assist in the acquisition and retention of clients and end consumers.
- Lead the marketing team in creating excellent web and social media presence that enables the awareness of the business/brand to spread virally.
Corporate Communications and Relationship Management
- Proactively develops and nurture relationships with media houses, journalists, and industry spokespersons to strengthen brand's perception in industry.
- Represents the Luminous brand appropriately in key forums and plans initiatives to market brand internally and externally.
- Interact with business heads to understand their views about various campaigns and provide suggestions, based on market analysis, for improving and strengthening market reach of their products.
- Provide inputs for product development and improvement in terms of the right mix, innovation and design to the product team.
Leadership and Direction
- Communicates the mission, vision, and values of Luminous along with its strategy for achieving these.
- Communicate the broad action plans for delivering the strategy within the function to inspire workforce to commit to and achieve the organization's business goals.
- Ensures that in-depth knowledge and use cases of company's offerings are percolated within the marketing team.
