Job Description
- As a Jr. PHP & WordPress Developer at Quantastic Marketing, you will be an integral part of our development team, assisting in building and maintaining websites for our clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an entry-level developer to enhance their skills, especially in PHP and WordPress, while working within a supportive and creative environment. Responsibilities: Website Development: Assist in creating and maintaining websites using PHP and WordPress, collaborating closely with the development team. WordPress Customization: Modify and extend WordPress themes and plugins to meet client requirements. Coding & Programming: Write clean, efficient, and well-structured code in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. CMS Management: Utilize WordPress to update, manage, and optimize website content, including text, images, and multimedia. Responsive Web Design: Ensure websites are fully responsive and optimized for performance across various devices. Quality Assurance: Test, debug, and troubleshoot website issues, ensuring a smooth and error-free user experience. Security: Implement security measures and adhere to web security standards to protect client websites. Problem-Solving: Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in a timely manner. Stay Updated: Continuously stay informed about the latest industry trends, new tools, and best practices in PHP, WordPress, and web development. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related fields (or equivalent experience). PHP Expertise: Solid understanding of PHP and its role in web development, particularly with WordPress. WordPress Skills: Familiarity with WordPress core functionality, themes, and plugins, with hands-on experience in WordPress development. Front-End Development: Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design. CMS Knowledge: Experience with content management systems, especially WordPress. Web Development Tools: Familiarity with relevant tools and frameworks for efficient web development. Eagerness to Learn: A strong desire to learn new technologies and improve your skills. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot, identify, and resolve issues effectively. Attention to Detail: Strong commitment to delivering high-quality, detailed, and polished work. Team Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
