Must Have:
Proficiency in .NET Core: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in building backend applications using .NET Core framework.Deep understanding of building and consuming RESTful APIs, including designing API contracts, implementing CRUD operations, handling authentication and authorization, and handling various HTTP protocols.
Entity Framework: Expertise in using Entity Framework (EF) Core for object-relational mapping (ORM) to interact with databases, including data modeling, data access, and database migrations.
LINQ (Language Integrated Query): Solid understanding of LINQ and its various operators to query and manipulate data in memory or from databases using a common syntax. Proficiency in using method syntax in C# to perform data transformations, filtering, and aggregation using lambda expressions and LINQ.
Performance Optimization: Ability to optimize the performance of .NET Core applications, including minimizing database queries, caching strategies, asynchronous programming, and profiling and debugging techniques.
Troubleshooting and Debugging: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and debug complex issues in .NET Core applications, including error handling, logging, and performance monitoring.
Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, gather requirements.
Plus points:
CI/CD Pipeline: Experience in setting up continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions, ensuring automated build, test, and deployment processes.
Azure Web Apps: Strong familiarity with Azure Web Apps for hosting .NET Core applications, including configuration, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Azure Active Directory (AD): Knowledge of Azure AD and its integration with .NET Core applications for authentication and authorization, including implementing roles and claims-based security.
Azure API Management (APIM): Understanding of Azure APIM and its capabilities for managing APIs, including API versioning, rate limiting, caching, and analytics.
App Registration: Experience in registering and configuring applications in Azure AD, including managing application permissions, authentication flows, and secure access to Azure resources.
Terraform: Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code using Terraform to provision and manage Azure resources, including Azure Web Apps, Azure AD, APIM, and other infrastructure components.
