Most relevant was Force #5: Ongoing Tech Revolution. Within Paul Daugherty s (Accenture s CTO) description of this Force, he noted the sizable opportunity that is Space and that our leading capabilities here on Earth, put us in a unique position to help clients literally enter an entirely new frontier of business growth and value.
The work:
As a Geospatial Analytics Manager in space technology, you will be a key player for developing and delivering outstanding work to our Space Innovation clients and supporting our internal asset development. Some of the areas you ll be working in include:
Leading teams delivering client projects related to Earth Observation and Remote Sensing Analytics and Geospatial data analysis
Supporting client sales conversations and proposal preparation
Providing Subject Matter Expert input (computer vision, geospatial data analysis and selection, analytics, etc.) into Accenture leadership conversations and decisions
Helping define, build and roll-out our internal Space Innovation tools and assets
Supporting the development of thought leadership and technical Points of View on Space Innovation
Helping with the development and delivery of Space Innovation technical training
Supporting the evaluation of third-party Space Innovation vendors, particularly Earth Observation related, tools and frameworks
Communicating with, and providing guidance to, Accenture leadership and client teams
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years experience in client-facing Data Science and Geospatial analytics work, including hand-on experience with all or some of the following:
Scientific programming (Python, R, etc.)
Data Analysis, Statistics, Machine Learning
Computer Vision, Image Processing
3D Image Analysis and 3D image reconstruction
Time Series Data Analysis, Forecasting, Anomaly Detection
Visualization Tools
Geospatial Data Analysis, GIS Systems
Satellite image processing
Minimum of 2 years experience in the following areas is necessary:
Advanced machine learning modelling
Leading project teams and driving work through completion
Experience in the following areas is also very desirable:
Big Data technologies and database systems
Cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP or Azure
Hand-on experience with satellite remote sensing data such as radiometry, hyperspectral Imaging, SAR imaging, etc.
Hand-on experience with remote sensing algorithms such as photogrammetry
Knowledge of earth observation market and ecosystem, technology and data provider, and tools
