What would you doThe Controllership Tax Operations Associate is responsible for supporting all elements of the tax withholding, provision and compliance process in line with internal policy deadlines and liaising with external advisors. The Controllership Tax Operations Associate will report to the Controllership Income Tax Associate Manager for Operations
What are we looking for
Experience in Corporate Tax
Strong oral and written communication
Knowledge of SAP, Tally, MS Office, Tax & WHT software
Knowledge of Accounting standards
Positive attitude and flexible
Sense of responsibility, initiative and high quality work standard
Ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritise
Semi-Qualified CA/CMA, M.Com with 4 years post qualification experience.
SAP experience an advantage but not essential.
Tax knowledge of APAC region is preferable.
Handling WHT & TCS (Domestic and Foreign WHT): o Making monthly TDS/WHT workings & payments o WHT return filing & revision o Issuance of TDS/WHT Certificates o WHT default correction o Preparing details required for WHT notices o Preparation of MIS and Statutory schedules o Processing SAP entries
Preparation of reconciliation between India Form 26AS and WHT GL for client WHT receivables.
Involved in the preparation of the Tax forecast on a quarterly basis.
Preparation of monthly tax reconciliations.
Processing tax related entries in SAP related to local GAAP and as the need arise.
Providing support in tax areas like tax accounting & tax compliance on case to case basis.
Supporting the continuous improvement of processes, controls, and data quality, including effective use of technology and participate in projects as required.
Support to team members on operational reporting
