- Position Overview: The Senior Software Development Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the development of Elcom Digitals GenAI product suite on AWS. This role requires deep technical expertise in AI/ML, strong leadership, and a passion for scaling AI products. You will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end development, from design and architecture to deployment and scaling, ensuring the seamless integration of AI capabilities into our product offerings. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Management: Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, data scientists, and AI/ML specialists, ensuring a collaborative and high-performing work environment. GenAI Product Development: Drive the development of AI-powered products focusing on delivering scalable, high-performance GenAI solutions for SMBs. AWS Expertise: Architect and manage GenAI products on AWS, utilizing services like AWS Sagemaker, Lambda, EC2, S3, and more to build, train, and deploy models. Technical Strategy: Collaborate with the leadership team to define the technology strategy for AI products, aligning with business goals and ensuring scalability. AI Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in Generative AI, integrating cutting-edge techniques and methodologies into Elcoms product development pipeline. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to ensure that AI features meet user needs, are technically feasible, and are aligned with market demands. Agile Development: Oversee the software development lifecycle using Agile/Scrum methodologies, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality AI-driven features. Data Pipeline & Model Optimization: Lead the design and implementation of data pipelines, model training, and optimization processes to ensure high model performance and efficiency. Security & Compliance: Ensure that all AI solutions meet the required security, privacy, and compliance standards, particularly within cloud environments. Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to track the performance of AI models in production and drive continuous improvements. Qualifications: Experience: 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in managing AI/ML-focused teams or products. Technical Expertise: Strong background in AI/ML, with hands-on experience in Generative AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), or computer vision. Proficiency in AI development tools and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras. AWS Mastery: Extensive experience with AWS, particularly in leveraging AWS AI/ML services like Sagemaker, EC2, Lambda, and AWSs machine learning pipelines for deploying scalable AI applications. Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing and scaling software development teams, with a focus on innovation, mentorship, and driving high performance. Project Management: Expertise in Agile methodologies, with a successful track record of delivering AI-based products within scope, time, and budget. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially related to scaling AI/ML models and optimizing their performance. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Generative AI in cloud-native applications. Strong understanding of data privacy laws and AI ethics in the context of AI/ML development.
